When Giuseppe and Pietro Simi immigrated to Northern California, they settled in Sonoma County because it reminded them of their native Tuscany where wine had been made for centuries. In 1876, they founded SIMI in Healdsburg, California. Today, there still making wine from diverse Sonoma County grapes in the same stone cellar built in 1890. The palate is zesty with fresh flavours of tangerine, lemon curd, stone fruit, white peach and nectarine framed by sweet toast and vanilla followed with wet-stone minerality and orange peel on the finish. This Cabernet Sauvignon blends the craftsmanship of California winemaking with the Southern tradition of Bourbon Whiskey aging, resulting in an incredibly bold sensory expression. Deep, rich ruby in color, it opens with concentrated aromas of blackberry cobbler, ripe dark berries, graham cracker, brown sugar, vanilla, milk chocolate, and toasty oak with notes of coffee and smoke. Flavors of ripe blackberry cobbler, blueberry pie, praline, sweet vanilla custard, brown sugar, caramel, and mocha are accented with hints of coffee and smoke. Soft, chewy tannins and toasty oak round the wine out with a long, lush finish. A superb accompaniment to grilled ribs, a charcuterie board, hearty pasta dishes, and strong cheeses.

Buttery Chardonnay is named for the rich, creamy flavorus imparted by its distinct winemaking style. Our coastal California vineyards deliver lush notes of ripe apple and white peach, balanced with bright, mouth-watering acidity. Malolactic fermentation then enchances the wine's body and complexity. Aging on French and American oak adds the finishing touches of brown spice and vanilla aromas and notes of toasty brioche to complement the decadent buttery profile.
