Segni Di Langa Nu Rosso di Langa IGT
Gian Luca’s new (NU) wine is an early bottled, fruity, juicy blend of all his grapes that do not make it into his varietal wines. It is bottled in 1L bottles and sealed under crown cap rather than cork. The style is one of accessibility and charm, with a classic Piedmont profile of brambly dark fruits and freshness.
Scarzella Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG
After having aged for 18 months in big barrel, our version of Barbera d'Asti Superiore is a wine of great class and expressiveness. This Barbera is produced by accurately selecting the best bunches, they are in fact the last grapes to be hand-picked. A very gentle crushing follows and the fermentation is carried out in steel tanks at controlled temperature. After a wild malolactic ferment, its long period of maturation in 'botte grande' begins. Intense ruby red color, the nose is direct with hints of red berries, ripe cherries, liquorice and menthol notes. On the palate the acidity is distinct and brilliant, tannins are soft and elegant. A powerful wine, but also of immediate pleasure, which best describes the strong connection between us and the landscape. To be enjoyed right now or to be left to rest for several years.
