The Wither Hills Pinot Gris has lovely fruit and aromas of ripe white peach, citrus and quince. It is off-dry on the palate with some refreshing acidity and beautiful succulent mouth feel. Sourced from a single vineyard site in the Strathbogie Ranges, ideally suited to growing aromatic and balanced Pinot Gris. The cool nights here allow the fruit to reach optimum ripeness whilst retaining an elegant balance between flavour, alcohol and acidity. This wine by Pacha Mama underwent lees stirring while in barrel, resulting in a buttery richness and complexity that sets the pinot gris style apart from the tighter, more acidic Pinot Grigio. Rich and inviting nose with white musk, fresh quince and honeysuckle. A generous and textural palate, with flavours of crýme brulee, lemon zest and musk, balanced by refreshing acidity and a satisfying, clean finish.

This Pinot Grigo has distinct varietal aromas of pear and passionfruit with delicate floral perfumes. McGuigan Black Label is refreshing on the palate is with delightful flavours of pear and green apple and a clean citrus finish.

Scorpo produces another excellent example of Pinot Gris from the Mornington Peninsula. Lifted aromas of pear apricot and green apple lead into a palate rich and silky in texture, the flavours showing depth and complexity, the acidity in perfect balance.

Dopff Pinot Gris Reserve from the famous Alsace region has crafted a supple and full bodied pinot gris deserving of the commendations from respected wine makers. Charming palate with soft, delicious flavours of banana, honey and camomile. Pale yellow with citrus notes on the nose. Long full finish.

Italian pioneers in the King Valley region of Northeastern Victoria, Dal Zotto have produced a Pinot Grigio of class and style here. Displaying aromatics of blossom, honeysuckle and pear, this fresh, lively wine finishes dry with good acidity.

Sidewood Pinot Gris is sourced from selected rows from their 300 acre estate in the Adelaide Hills. This cool climate, estate grown wine shows a fresh nose and palate of crisp apples, nashi pear and citrus. With a smooth, almost silk like texture, this excellent Gris has brilliant natural acidity and a length and character that will allow the wine to age wonderfully.

This great Pinot Gris from Mt Difficulty has aromatics reminiscent of a fruit cocktail full of stone fruit, melon and green mango. These characters are richly replicated on the palate, with a full-textured mid palate and an off-dry finish. Delicious.
