The fruit was entirely hand-harvested and allowed 6 hours skin contact in the press before fermentation was carried out at cool temperatures to maximise fruit expression. This wine shows all the hallmarks of easy-going, classic Italian Pinot Grigio; subtle grapefruit and underlying floral and spice notes on the nose followed by citrus and peach flavours bound together by a tight minerality.

This wine by Pacha Mama underwent lees stirring while in barrel, resulting in a buttery richness and complexity that sets the pinot gris style apart from the tighter, more acidic Pinot Grigio. Anna and Jason Flowerday run the Te Whare Ra vineyard in Marlborough according to organic and bio-dynamic practices. Hand picked Pinot Blianco fruit by Girlan, grown on the mineral rich hillsides of Cornaiano, at altitudes ranging from 450 to 500 metres above sea level. The juice is tank fermented, with 10% going through malo to add some flesh to the wines crisp Alpine bones. Lower than average yields have resulted in a racy, pulpy, kaffir-lime, apple, and spice scented wine with lovely, pithy minerality and a zesty bite on the finish.

Hailing from Merricks North, Quealy Tussie Mussie Pinot Gris is a generous wine with a luscious stone fruit palate; honey, heavy bottomed pears, and creamy. Six months on lees assist generous mouth feel and palate weight. Balanced with natural acidity.
