While they build their whiskey distillery, they have sourced the finest double and triple distilled malts and a hint of peated malt. Bottled at 46% ABV the whiskey is not chill filtered giving a rich character to a super soft whiskey. Presented in a tall elegant bottle, the Silkie label is reflective of the blue/green colour of the sea at the foot of the Sliabh Liag Cliffs. Born from a conversation between Jameson's head distiller and the head brewer of Cork's Franciscan Well Brewery, Jameson Caskmates is a head-turning, modern Irish whiskey. The whiskey has been finished in stout-seasoned casks, producing notes of cocoa, coffee and butterscotch while still retaining Jameson's famous triple-distilled smoothness.

Bushmills Single Malt Whiskey 16 year old is aged for 16 years in a combination of Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon-seasoned casks, then matured for several months in port wine barrels. The unique maturation process gives this single malt its distinct notes of juicy fruits, nuts and spice, as well as a hint of ruby redness. Its best enjoyed neat or over ice.

Nose: Salted caramel and vanilla jump out of the glass with light oak spices and undertones of zesty citrus, honey and a hint of nuts. Palate: Honey and creamy vanilla come to the fore with light oak spices that are all followed by the zesty citrus peel. A deliciously drinkable whiskey.

On the pallet a fascinating blend of Applewood smoke, honey and all spice are married with stewed pears and fresh grilled pineapple. This whiskey finishes with the return of a savoury smoke over a lingering wood undertone, which combines delightfully with notes of salted caramel.
