The grapes are carefully selected, only perfectly ripe, healthy ones with out botrytis are used to make this Villa Wolf Pinot Noir Rosé. It has deliciously light with bright fruits characters and finishes with lively acidity that cleans the palate refreshingly.

The Savaterre vineyard is elevated at 430m above sea level and is farmed along organic principles. No pesticides are used. An incredibly complex, lifted, lively and intense nose. Exotic aromas of smoked meats, dried red rose, allspice, clove, dark plum, dark cherry ,blackberry, mulberry, mandarin, violets, sandalwood, bay and funky undergrowth. Maison Les Alexandrins is a collaboration between two renowned winegrowers from the Rhone Valley - Nicolas Jaboulet and Alexandre Caso. Their wines are crafted in a signature style that is at once contemporary and timeless, and always from exceptional vineyards unearthed by Alexandre Caso, a specialist in the terroirs of the Northern Rhone. A blend of 60% Grenache Noir and 40% Syrah sourced from hillside terraces rich in quartz and limestone marls, vinified and matured in wooden and stainless steel vats for 8 months. Beautiful deep red colour with purple reflections. This wine opens up with a powerful and expressive nose with toasted notes, and the Syrah bringing a bouquet of red fruit. On the palate, it reveals elegance and richness through fine tannins that balance the opulent notes of very ripe black fruit, typical Syrah spices and a superb long finish.

De Iuliis (De - uli - iss) wines are known for their trademark regionality and commitment to showcasing the very best the Hunter Valley has to offer. Their Shiraz is a fine balance between power and subtlety. Spice driven aromas with mild hints of the berry fruit to come on the palate. Blackberry, raspberry and dark cherry come to the fore and are in harmony with the round, soft tannins.

Yellow Tail Merlot is soft and supple, with sweet, plum and cherry flavours and a hint of liquorice or anise. Merlot is an excellent alternative to the heavier and more tannic red varieties.

Red Knot Grenache Shiraz Mataro blend displays lifted spicy plum and red berry aromas complemented with undertones of herbs, musk and cedar oak. This medium bodied wine delivers rich juicy raspberry flavours, followed by a peppery palate and a smokey toasted oak savoury finish.

From the stable of Devils Lair, Fifth Leg is a blend of Cabernet, Shiraz and Merlot that is a soft and supple drink-now style. The quality of the Margaret River fruit gives it flavour which will appeal to the serious red wine drinker as well.

From Orange in NSW, this Shiraz is a good introduction to the qualities of this emerging area. It shows aromas of plum and spices and the palate is all about the fruit with little intrusive oak.

A youthful expression of a prevalent McLaren Vale blend with loads fruit intensity and complexity, made using natural philosophies with no additions and no sulphur.
