Maison Les Alexandrins is a collaboration between two renowned winegrowers from the Rhone Valley - Nicolas Jaboulet and Alexandre Caso. Their wines are crafted in a signature style that is at once contemporary and timeless, and always from exceptional vineyards unearthed by Alexandre Caso, a specialist in the terroirs of the Northern Rhone. A blend of 60% Grenache Noir and 40% Syrah sourced from hillside terraces rich in quartz and limestone marls, vinified and matured in wooden and stainless steel vats for 8 months. Beautiful deep red colour with purple reflections. This wine opens up with a powerful and expressive nose with toasted notes, and the Syrah bringing a bouquet of red fruit. On the palate, it reveals elegance and richness through fine tannins that balance the opulent notes of very ripe black fruit, typical Syrah spices and a superb long finish.

Glen Garvald GSM takes its cue from the long-standing convention of creating a vinous symphony via blending multiple complementary grape varieties synonymous with France’s southern Rhône Valley. Built around Grenache Noir as the corner stone, other historically compatible building-block varieties are added to the mix based on their intrinsic strengths and contributions to the greater sum of the parts. Our third release of this time-honoured assemblage of sympatico varieties dips its lid to and raps on the themes of harmony, balance, integration and combined strengths.

Made by the Torres family and coming exclusively from their vineyards located in the municipalities of Porrera and Lloar. Salmos is a Priorat wine, a blend between Carignan, Grenache & Syrah, that manages to achieve an unparalleled balance between power and elegance. Dark ruby red. Rich, ripe wine with floral (confected rose) and fruit (dark cherries, prunes) aromas. Beautifully framed by French oak. Elegant, subtle midpalate, very finely structured tannins and a slight touch of toast (cocoa).

Aromas of plums, spice and background peppery hints lead to a richly flavoured palate of blackberry, plum and anise fruits. Firm, supportive tannins will hold this release in good stead for further cellaring.

A beautifully elegant form of Shiraz from Picardy displaying notes or red fruits, cracked black pepper and spice. A fresh, vibrant wine with suede like silky tannins and a wonderfully lingering finish. Super stylish effort.

Red wine artisan, Marco Cirillo, has produced a single vineyard Shiraz with as minimal intervention as possible. Using 90% whole berry and 10% whole bunch as well as natural yeast fermentation without fining or filtering, this Shiraz screams of its terroir. Expressive fruit up front of plums and red berries with small waft of leafy characters. The palate dances across the tongue without hindrance from over use of oak and is a supreme wine for the price.

From the famous Tuscan region of Chianti, this wine is made from Sangiovese. The Chianti Classico style a wine is slightly richer on the palate, yet with that trademark dusty tannin and earthy spice backbone that make this wine such a brilliant match with pasta.
