The Gold Turtle range from Madfish had always been a family favorite. Pale lime yellow in colour, their Riesling has the classic varietal characters, such as lifted citrus blossom and minerals. Lark Hill sits high a top the Canberra District wine region, some 840m above sea level. This altitude allows their fragrant aromatic whites to truly sing. The Riesling is brilliantly restrained which can be tasted in the overt mineral nature of the wine. Lively citrus blossom with white flowers can also be seen.

Penfolds began releasing the Bin 51 Riesling in the 1990s as part of the evolving white wine development program.
