Juniper Margaret River Crossing Original Red

Sourced from Juniper Estate's Wilyabrup vineyard, Metricup site and Karridale vineyard, all of which are sustainably farmed following organic practices. Winner of a Gold medal and scoring 95pts at Royal Melbourne, the Crossing Original Red displays aromas of raspberry, redcurrant and cherry with a lick of cassis and a red liquorice twist. Oak contributes subtle cedar and vanilla hints. Medium to full-bodied and silky in the mouth – the palate is driven by bright, juicy red fruits and a hint of dark chocolate. Impeccably balanced acid, discreet oak, glossy tannins and remarkable length. "80% cabernet sauvignon, 10% merlot, 4% cabernet franc, 3% malbec, 3% petit verdot. Estate fruit, fermented in seperate parcels, up to 21 days on skins, matured in French oak (10% new for 14 months. For a little cheapie, this packs a punch. Perfectly Margaret River, uncomplicated in its expression, and coloured by a bevy of bright fruits. Compelling!... 90pts. Value Star" (Erin Larkin, Halliday Wine Companion).

Forester Estate Cabernet Merlot

Always regarded as one of Margaret River's favourite wineries due to the inherant quality. Forester Estate seems to marry beautifully with their value-for-money philosophy. Rich berry flavours are well balanced by a tight tannin structure typical of quality Margaret River Cabernets. The other great bonus is the ability of this great Cab blend to morph into a true cellar star.

Fraser Gallop Cabernet Sauvignon

A high quality wine from the first whiff of the bouquet through to the long finish...has a tapestry of flavours from the base of Cabernet...all supported by persistent but ripe tannins, the oak absorbed by the fruit. Winning the prestigious Decanter International Trophy, we snaffled as much of this wine as we could. Very limited.
