The flagship wine from Fox Creek is a muscular McLaren Vale number, Langtons Classified Excellent and built to go the journey in the cellar. Its fruit is sourced from four sub-regions of McLaren Vale, its oak painstakingly chosen to complement the individual parcels of fruit, and the finished wine manages both intensity and finesse.

Restrained and supple, lots of ripe dark plum, pepper and spice of Shiraz with the rose petal perfume lift and red cherry taste of Grenache. Lovely lightness and brightness to the back palate with a faint dried herbal and savoury edge, making it terrific immediate drinking but will cellar nicely for 5-10 years.

It is gloriously fruited and inviting on the nose showing blackberry, spiced plum, vanilla, smoked game and pepper spice aromas, followed by a concentrated palate that is powerfully graceful. Yangarra Estate is a biodynamic wine farm in the McLaren Vale devoted solely to producing wines from the best grape varieties of the southern Rhone.
