Add a trickle of water to release the whisky and take in the AROMA WITH WATER; fresh and malty with darker, delicious hints of coffee and cocoa. You may smell some vanilla notes, and a touch of the fruit bowl coming through once again—this time with citrus fruits, especially lemons. This single malt Scotch whisky has been crafted by master distiller Jim McEwan from individually selected casks to showcase the classic, floral and elegant Bruichladdich house style. Unpeated, it is the signature bottling and the definitive Bruichladdich. Made from 100% Scottish barley, trickle distilled, then matured for its entire life by the shores of Lochindaal in premium American oak. The palate entry is so refined and refreshing, the sweet oak and the barley arriving together sending the taste buds into raptures. The fruits from Distillation drift in on an Atlantic breeze and pop on the tongue like champagne bubbles. A combination of ripe green fruit, brown sugar and sweet malt bring closure.

This is a complex dram, packed with flavour and texture. 13 Years Old, from an 1891 distillery. Bottled at a punchy 46% ABV. A stubborn, sulphurous single malt, condensed in rusted worm tubs on an inhospitable rocky bluff.

Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky appears pale amber in colour with a wonderfully aromatic nose of sherry, honey and slight smokiness. Light to medium palate with a big, powerful spicy kick, followed by a sweet oaky finish with a hint of vanilla.

Caol Ila Distillers Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky appears a clear, opulent gold colour with a wonderfully aromatic nose of spice, ripe fruit and a slight smokiness. Medium palate with a sweet maltiness striking first, then becoming overwhelmed by peat smoke and crisp cinnamon spice. Finish is long, rounded and robust.
