Forester Estate Chardonnay is a refreshing fruit-driven wine. Pale lemon green in colour with intense roasted nuts, honey, ripe peach and a hint of smoky oak with lingering MLF on the nose. It is medium body with similar profile from the nose. Classic acidity structures with a toasty yet deliciously creamy finish.

The wines of Fraser Gallop Estate are intensely flavoured, textured and complex. Only the finest quality French oak barrels are used for all Fraser Gallop Estate wines, with very specific Bordelais coopers used for the Cabernet Sauvignon and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blends, and Burgundian coopers for the Chardonnay. The complete winemaking process takes place at the estate - picking to vinification to barrel maturation to bottling to cellaring. Fraser Gallop Estate is an estate grown, produced and bottled wine. Flavours of lemon curd and grapefruit with searing length. A wine with clarity and finesse. A tightly focussed and very precise wine showing seamless fruit purity with the lightly toasted French oak very much in the background. Bright salmon-pink in colour. This wine is a non-vintage blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with notes of wild strawberries and freshly baked pastry. The palate has a delicate balance of red berries, fine acidity and a rich, creamy texture.

This is the wine that the winemakers at Pierro drink on their day off. They have seen the hand-picked grapes, gently cold pressed and put into mature oak for 10 months to give the wine complexity yet elegant simplicity.

APPEARANCE: Deep gold. AROMA: Orange blossom, negroni, mint, thyme. PALATE: Tightly wound structure of sauvignon blanc and semillon tannins spreading the fruit out to the back of the palate, with crisp natural acidity. Orange blossom flutters in the mouth as a gorgeous tribute to the Moon opposite Saturn flower day harvest.

The nose exhibits a delightful lifted bouquet which is quite flirty and floral. Cumquat zest with apple and strawberry blossom and a hint of beeswax co-mingle. Generous, round, very approachable palate. The natural citrus flavours of this variety come to the fore. The influence of the oak is very understated and is seen more in it’s addition of texture and complexity on the front and mid palate. But keeping the palate taught and with lovely drive is a salty / mineral acidity racing along the backbone of the wine. The finish is juicy, delicate and with a fun vibrant iLime Sherbert quality.
