Forester Estate Chardonnay is a refreshing fruit-driven wine. Pale lemon green in colour with intense roasted nuts, honey, ripe peach and a hint of smoky oak with lingering MLF on the nose. It is medium body with similar profile from the nose. Classic acidity structures with a toasty yet deliciously creamy finish.

Vibrant mid gold with green hues. Restrained nose with gentle citrus and white nectarine, flint and sweet integrated oak. The palate is silky and voluptuous with layers of stone fruit, vanillin oak, flint and a lively acidity for balance and length.

Light gold, with a fresh, green rim. Stonefruit, pear and citrus notes and seductive fresh toast, dried herbs and malty aromas from barrel fermentation. Palate Remarkable fruit sweetness, intensity and persistence, matched with lovely texture and savoury elements and balanced by fresh, natural acidity. A prolonged cool and wet growing season meant the vines were lush and healthy heading into ripening. This resulted in later harvest dates, accentuated by the cool and wet ripening months; conditions not experienced in Western Australia for more than 10 years. These conditions, coupled with the absence of heat events, produced highly aromatic whites with good natural acidity. The fruit was selectively handpicked at perfect ripeness, before being loaded into an airbag press and gently squeezed. The free-run juice was continuously tasted until an optimum point was reached. The juice underwent wild fermentation in new French oak puncheons, then remained in barrel for 7-10 months, with monthly lees stirring to provide texture and mouthfeel. Each batch was carefully assessed for inclusion in the final blend. This minimal handling has produced a unique, delicate Redbrook Chardonnay style that will develop great complexity over time.

Forester Estate focuses on showcasing the distinct regional characters of Margaret River fruit. Made by globally trained winemaker Todd Payne, this is a style of Chardonnay that has re-awakened the variety's popularity with consumers. Full flavoured, rich and ripe with a delicious spectrum of peach, cashew, grilled nut and mealy notes all balanced with some toasty oak and zesty length.

Lovely vibrancy and elegance aromas. This Devils Lair Chardonnay has primary aromas of nectarine, melon and citrus. Subtle notes of roasted hazelnut and nougat are intertwined creating a layered and complex wine with great purity. The palate is classic powerful Margaret River, white stone fruit dominates the palate with a vibrant core of citrus and pink grapefruit pith. Delicate use of oak and gentle lees stirring adds a subtle creaminess that overlays a textural and richly flavoured wine. With a unique combination of climate, geography and geology, Devil’s Lair celebrates wines of great clarity, delicacy of fruit and elegant structure. The philosophy of Devil’s Lair is to make wines that define the region, respect the variety and above all, make complex, interesting wines. Devils Lair 2017 Chardonnay was hand harvested in early March from selected south easterly facing blocks at the Devils Lair Vineyard. A cool fermentation in French oak barrels was followed by occasional stirring on lees for 9 months. A wine of great vibrancy, layers and flavour. pale straw-green with aromas of lemon zest, white peach, and subtle oak. Medium-bodied and crisp, it shows nectarine, citrus, and talc-like minerality, finishing clean, elegant, and poised.

Delicate and gentle notes of cooler climate fruits fill the nose; wet stones, chalk, fine citrus zest and orange blossom. The palate is lissom and has a mineral water like weight as citrus fruits mingle with toasted nut-meal and caramel. A fine and soft acidity retains levity and gives length and crispness to finish this Chardonnay by Marchand and Burch.
