The Unicus is the product of Shiraz fruit that just could not be ignored in the Seaview subregion of McLaren Vale. When we see and taste exceptional, one of a kind fruit, it excites us to pick, nurture, and bring to your glass an exceptional wine. This powerful Shiraz shows illuminating purity of plums, black currants and a touch of cedar. There is spicy clove and black pepper on the nose, supported by red and black currant perfume. The length and drive of well structured tannins allow the Unicus to cellar well.

Deep rich red showing a youthful purple rim. Lifted notes of blackberry, chocolate and spice, with secondary characters of blueberry, leather and soy provides a complex and intense introduction to the wine. The palate is full bodied, displaying classic spice and ripe berry notes, integrated oak and concentration for which Australian Shiraz is renowned. It has spice and savoury notes with plentiful ripe succulent tannins on the finish.

Oliver's Taranga have a long and distinguished history in the McLaren Vale and are custodians of some of the premier vineyard land in the region. Corrina Wright is now the winemaking brain behind this progressive winery and her Shiraz is a modern masterstroke. Smoke and bacon on the nose with sweet and savoury tones. Soft fruit flavours luscious mouth feel and great length to this wine. Delicious.

Driven by our organic passion and natural ‘raison d’être’, this super-premium NASAA Certified Organic and Bio-dynamically grown wine is specially made Preservative Free. A deep purple in colour with ruby hues. The nose exudes aromas of fresh blackcurrant, cassis and tobacco leaf. Kay Brothers Amery Hillside Shiraz is big, rich and uncompromising in the traditional McLaren Vale style. Intense fruit a good measure of oak and beautifully balanced overall - a Shiraz to live for a decade or more.

One of the few straight varietals in Australia (Petit Verdot is usually blended with other Bordeaux varieties), the nose displays violets, briary blackberry and a hint of cedar. The palate reveals concentrated spicy plum, cherry and mulberry flavours. Will cellar well.
