This very rare wine is a co fermented “field blend” of the rare German variety Schönburger and our 1974 planting of Riesling. There are intense aromas of fruit and flower. Flavours abound, with Jasmine, gardenia, ripe grapefruit, honeydew, rockmelon, hints of wet-stone minerality and phenomenally clear golden delicious apple notes! Inherent fruit sweetness is balanced by refreshing acidity ensuring a crisp, fresh finish - it’s like standing in a field of daisies in summer, with a fresh fruit salad.

Freycinet Riesling is pale straw in colour with a bouquet of orange blossom and honey that makes for immediate appeal. The palate is tightly structured with long citrus and grapefruit flavours. A real keeper!

Devil's Corner Chardonnay shows some up-front ripe stone fruit, citrus characters and hint of subtle spiciness. It shows excellent flavour intensity with great persistence and a refreshing finish.

Avancé is the first red from Glaetzer-Dixon to advance from barrel to bottle each season. Golden Chardonnay fruit from the Louis vineyard is cool fermented in tanks followed by extended lees contact prior to bottling. By not utilising the Burgundy technique of fermentation in oak casks this wine highlights the pure Chardonnay aromas and flavours of stone, citrus and melon fruits. The mouth-filling, smooth, fruit-salad flavours are harmoniously balanced by a refreshing crisp long finish.
