Veuve Clicquot has been producing fine quality Champagne since it was founded in 1772. This Peper-Heidsieck 2006 Vintage Brut is an elegantly charming wine. With aromas of dried fruits, hints of red and black fruits and warm spices, it is intense and enticing on the nose. Champagne Duperrey Brut Rosé, hand-crafted by Christophe Rapeneau from fruit grown around the iconic Champagne town of Reims, is a truly attractive and sensuous sparkling rosé that lends itself to many occasions and food pairings. A wonderful lifted and vibrant strawberry colour in the glass paves the way for the nose which sees aromas of ripe cherry and a hint of apricot. In the mouth, this Champagne comes into its own with a smooth and creamy mousse complimented by a super fine bead. Flavours of raspberry and cherries come to the fore to produce a sparkling wine overflowing with charisma and class.

G.H.MUMM Millésimé 2006 is a luminous and bright golden yellow in colour with fine, lingering bubbles.The nose reveals a superbly complex wine: notes of apple and pear, with yellow fruit such as apricot and mirabelleplum. It then develops aromas of dried fruit and nuts with hints of pastry. After a strong attack, the wine developsgradually. It then reveals the increasingly perceptible presence of Pinot Noir, giving an unctuousness to the structure before unfolding into a long, precise finish.

Further gentle ageing takes place until deemed ready for release by the Cellar Master. It displays a multitude of citrus, white and red fruits, linked by a common thread of minerality producing a mature complexity, elegance and length.
