This grey-skinned grape Pinot Gris underwent a gentle winemaking process with minimal colour extraction from the skin that resulted in a beautiful blush hue. On the nose, aromas of pear and nectarine are complemented by notes of roses and Turkish delight that are introduced by the yeast. The soft palate is laced with pear and lychee flavours leading to a satisfying finish. This varietal can be enjoyed with oven-roasted chicken, meaty fish or pork dishes.

Don't miss out on this sexy, slippery wine exuding lychees, nuts and nashi pears (and yes we do believe there's a difference nashis are light and crisp while still having a depth of sweet fruit flavour). Veneto Italy continues to provide stunning wine after stunning wine, and this soave is no exception. A superb white wine, you'll almost be transported to an sunny afternoon at the vineyard with each sip of this drop. Lemon in colour with green hues you'll experience aromas of golden apple, green pear and chamomile flowers. This is one savoury and well balanced wine with hints of almonds on the finish, making it a truly pleasant tipple to enjoy at lunch or on a balmy evening.

This great Pinot Gris from Mt Difficulty has aromatics reminiscent of a fruit cocktail full of stone fruit, melon and green mango. These characters are richly replicated on the palate, with a full-textured mid palate and an off-dry finish. Delicious.

Clear, bright, pale straw in the glass, the nose is complex and enticing displaying fruit, perfume and evidence of its European winemaking. Honeyed fruit on the palate with a slight buttery mouthfeel, good acid, length and a very good lingering finish. Altogether, a very good wine.

Another terrific white wine to come from New Zealands Marlborough winemaking region. Fresh apple, pear and mandarin flavours with a little touch of spice make this a great match for a coconut and coriander packed curry.
