Thorn Clarke Mount Crawford Riesling
Vibrant pale straw with green highlights. The nose shows perfumed floral notes along with fresh cut white peach and kaffir lime leaf. The palate follows through with juicy citrus flavours and light spice, along with a long balanced acidity and a fine minerality on the finish. The Thorn-Clarke family are known as sixth generation wine region employees, establishing a winery to solidify their presence in the region. Wines are styled for premium consumption, with vineyards being paramount in the winemaking process. Grape growing is the primary activity, wine producing a by product of the years of experience with the vines. Thorn Clarke is a Barossa Valley based winery that sources fruit from premier vineyards in the Eden Valley and Barossa Valley. The individual vineyard sites are Mount Crawford and Milton Park (Eden) and Kabininge and St Kitts (Barossa). Whites are left to Eden Valley, reds to Barossa Valley. Modern winemaking techniques are applied in their updated and modern winery. Technology assists in the production of cleanly made, volume brands that convey their regionality but ultimately are style for easy, early consumption.
Goodchild Eden Valley Riesling
Three generations of the Goodchild family has been producing outstanding quality Eden Valley fruit since 1920. Situated high in the rugged eastern Barossa Ranges, the high altitude and cool climate creates wines with intense varietal character as this top quality Eden Valley Riesling demonstrates.
The Ridge Terra Rossa Coonawarra Riesling
Coonawarra is one of Australia's great winemaking regions, known for producing wines with richness, intensity and depth of flavour. This superbly aromatic Riesling displays the characteristics this reputation has been built on, with its rich fruit flavours and gentle, yet lively palate.

Ata Mara Central Otago Riesling
From a cooler than usual season in Central Otago the wine has retained ethereal acidity, also expressing the delicacy of the site and the vintage. To balance this line the ferment was stopped to retain some residual fruit sweetness giving an off-dry wine.
Katnook Estate Riesling
Light straw-green, not surprisingly has the floral aromas and flavours that are particular to Coonawarra, a mix of green apple and citrus with a boney streak of mineral providing structure and the certainty of a long life ahead. Highly recommended. 'Bright colour, with a bright note of fresh lime, kaffir lime leaf and coriander on the bouquet; the palate is bone dry, with juicy acidity and vibrant citrus fruits providing plenty of thrust to the generous texture; consume over the short to medium term for maximum pleasure.' - 92 Points. - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2014, 26 July 2013.
Loom Long Yarn Riesling
McLaren Vale is producing some fantastic Riesling and this is undoubtedly one of them. Refreshing flavours of fresh lime and grapefruit with a touch of honeycomb makes this wine an ideal partner to spicy Asian foods.
Penfolds Bin 51 Riesling
Conceived as a white wine development program, the Bin 51 Riesling soon became one of Penfolds' star performers. Eden Valley is an obvious choice of region for Riesling due to the higher altitude and cool climate. The wine offers delicate aromas of fresh cut apples and pears with a twist of lemon and minerality towards the end. A great deal of fruits and acidity makes for an interesting white wine with propensity to age gracefully if carefully cellared.
1998 was the fourth successive drought vintage in the Clare Valley. This Riesling has a fuller orange blossom flavour and aroma produced from a drought year.
