The Aberfeldy vineyard is located only 5 kilometres from the town centre of Clare and was planted way back in 1904 by the Birks family of Wendouree fame. Penfolds began releasing the Bin 51 Riesling in the 1990s as part of the evolving white wine development program. The Eden Valley was chosen as the region for this Riesling due to the high altitude and cool climate that results in wines of intense aromatics and superb textural mouth feel. Flavours of apples, pears and bright citrus are commonplace. The Bin 51 has also shown a great propensity to age in the bottle extremely well.

Sourced from family owned estate vineyards high up in the Strathbogie Ranges in Central Victoria, the 'Ladies' Riesling is able to contain the perfect acid levels to produce an aromatic white of utmost power and austerity. Not lacking in any complexity or texture, this is a food style Riesling that will drink nicely tonight or sit comfortably in the cellar for the next 3 to 4 years.

Dopff Riesling Grand Cru Schoenenbourg has quite phenomenal citrus notes with a luscious and toasty caramelised honey element. Beautifully balanced acidity and immense length. Sheer indulgence!

The St Andrews Cabernet from Taylors has fine tannins and opulent cassis and fresh blackberry fruit are combined with cedar oak notes that make for a lovely drinking wine for now or something for the medium term section of your cellar.
