Kilikanoons Parable Shiraz showcases the regional expression of McLaren Vale typically showing mocha, coffee and brown spices alongside a core of ripe juicy red fruit with cedar and vanilin characters. The wine is vinified in a traditional manner; small parcels of fruit, are fermented on skins in open top vessels then basket pressed to a mixture of new and seasoned French oak casks for 22 months.

Driven by our natural organic passion and raison dêtre, this super-premium NASAA Certified Organic and Biodynamically grown wine is specially made Preservative Free and Vegan. A deep red colour, with a soft ruby hue. Aromas of dense, intense spice and black pepper, with hints of blackberries, herald the rich, deep black fruits and berry flavours that fill the palate. Balanced and supple fine-grained tannins complement the fine acid structure lending a persistence and beguiling complexity.

It is sweetly fragrant and instantly appealing on the nose showing dark and purple fruit aromas together with tar, game, cocoa and spicy oak nuances. The palate is rich, intense and fleshy, displaying excellent power as well as rounded mouthfeel, wonderfully complemented by velvety texture and silky tannins. Geoff Merrill Reserve Shiraz displays a deep red colour. The wine is packed with red berry, chocolate, leather and earthy characters. The palate is luxurious and generous before revealing the great structure underneath. Having undergone extended maturation first in barrel and then in bottle, the drink has become elegant and sophisticated.

The premium fruit parcels used to produce this stunning Old Bush Vine Grenache were handpicked from the company owned Katunga block and Prisoner of War vineyard. These grapes were then crushed and fermented in open concrete vats, followed by daily pump over. The juice obtained after primary fermentation was drained and basket pressed. Post-maturation in American oak barriques, this beautiful Grenache flaunts a bright purple hue with a crimson haze. The perfumed nose exudes elegant aromas of cherries, chocolate, spice and rose petal. A sip of the wine presents enticing flavours of black plum, sweet, spicy raspberry, fruitcake and toffee apple. These beautiful characters are balanced by subtle savoury oak notes, ending the wine in a captivating finish. It tastes excellent with veal kidneys, grilled bratwurst and young Gouda cheese.

2016 Clarendon Hills Domaine Clarendon BDX Deep Crimson. A harmonious combination of forrest floor, polished wooden furniture, chocolate shavings with understated blackcurrant and blackberry fruit in what is a very low altitude, reserved expression. As the glass evolves the altitude of perfume slowly rises and a bouquet of cedar, roast almond, leather boot and blackcurrant liqueur finely interlace and create something quite unique and sophisticated. There is careful attention to detail across this finely polished and creamy smooth palate that evidently reflects the 40% Merlot inclusion. Layers of pure black fruit, earthy olive tapenade and subtle degrees of cigar tobacco, roast almond and baking spice nuance throughout this classical styled composition.
