Château Le Grand Verdus, with 115 hectares of vineyards, maintains a winery in the heart of the hills of Entre Deux Mers, 20km east of Bordeaux, near Saint-Emilion. This vineyard is strongly influenced by refreshing breezes and warm sunshine, creating one of the longest growing seasons in the Languedoc region. This exceptional climate and geographical location are a paradise for this world-class varietal. Deep crimson in appearance, with plumy fruit and spicy notes of clove, strawberries and cream, and sweet dark cherries. On the palate it is fresh and juicy with a rich mid-palate and velvety tannins. A very well balanced, fruit-forward Pinot. A crowd-pleaser.
