All Cullen Wines are grown on a certified Biodynamic, Carbon Neutral and naturally powered estate. Grapes are harvested by hand on fruit and flower days according to the astrological calendar. The wines have no additions of yeast, acid or malolactic culture, and are in this sense natural wines which express the place and land on which they are grown, the vintage and the people.

Savoury aromatics- minerals, oatmeal and spice are layered with white peach and citrus floral aromas. Complex and enticing. TASTE Flavours of white stone fruit and pear combine with cashew nuts from the oak and a lovely textural mid palate to give complexity. The palate has a line lemon sherbet acid which gives focus and length to the wine.

The current release of the Fire Gully Sauvignon Blanc Semillon is a superb exampe of the blend. Complex and interesting with fascinating oyster shell aromatics, intense pure white tropical flavours with schisty minerally notes: powerful, vibrand and tangy, finishing fresh and zesty. This Margaret River classic has reached a beautifully rounded maturity, softening its initial power into pure elegance. The vibrant grapefruit and white stonefruit flavors have mellowed into a smooth, honeyed richness, perfectly complemented by a creamy cashew finish. It is silkier and more approachable than ever, a sophisticated, world-class white that feels luxurious and easy to drink right now.

With the benefit of bottle age, this wine has gracefully traded some of its youthful vibrancy for a beautiful increase in texture and complex depth. The elegant nose has matured, allowing the luxurious notes of roasted cashew, almond meal, and subtle spice to rise to the forefront, perfectly complementing the soft, integrated citrus and floral hints. On the palate, the immense purity of youth has evolved into a delicately layered, full mouthfeel defined by sesame seed and blanched almonds. The fine mineral spine is now a commanding feature, ensuring the wine retains a powerful persistence and finishes with polished structure.

The palate exudes fleshy primary fruits, layered with nutmeal, lemon butter and brioche. A chalky, mineral texture and fresh citrus acidity continues the bounce.

Capel Vale is family-owned and one of the pioneers of the West Australian wine industry, first planting vines in 1974. And the duck? A symbol of the native mountain ducks that inhabit the nearby Capel River. In the glass: Pale with green freshness.On the nose: Rich and nutty aromas with stonefruit, citrus and struck match.
