Under Wraps Margaret River Chardonnay - Related products

Driftwood Estate Artifacts Chardonnay

Classic margs; rich and opulent meets a fine, persistent acid line (and length for days). Creamy and crisp, this is a wine in perfect balance. Big, broad citrus flavours lead the fruit profile with some ripe red apple, nectarine, and tropical melon flavours following tightly behind. The oak profile is steeped in vanilla bean and sweet spice, and in classic Margs style its present but never over-bearing. A bit of wafty sea breeze (is that the Indian Ocean we’re picking up?) coupled with a steely minerality that chimes in on the finish. While this is a new wine to us, the producer is an absolute Mofo fave.

Lucky Sock Chardonnay

Once & Well Frankies Garden Chardonnay

Once & Wells Chardonnay comes from grapes grown in both the warmer and cooler areas of the Margaret River region, mixing tropical and citrus characteristics to produce a distinctive and well-balanced wine. The Chardonnays nose is vibrant, rich and enticing with tropical fruits such as lychee and pineapple, citrus, some spice, nougat and hints of jasmine. The palate is light and refreshing with a mealy mid-palate and elegant finish. A touch of vanilla and spicy oak gives this Chardonnay a refined note.

Bunkers Honeycombs Chardonnay

Bunkers Honeycombs Chardonnay is a white varietal which has a pale green colour. Its nose gives off lovely aromas of citrus and stone fruit, while its palate tastes of Chardonnay grapes wrapped in a delicate and creamy mid-palate. The process of oak maturation adds texture, complexity and finesse to the palate, which gets balanced by zingy acidic tinges. Its fruity and persistent climax makes it a wonderful food wine, perfect for casual dinner parties with friends and family! Crabs, prawns, pasta and risottos taste great with this elegant Chardonnay.

Miles From Nowhere Chardonnay

The premium fruit used to craft Miles From Nowhere Chardonnay was picked in the cool of early morning. Aged in French oak for six months, this enticing Chardonnay flaunts a pale green colour accompanied by a straw yellow haze. The perfumed bouquet exhibits flinty scents of stone fruit and melon, coupled with lemon as well as nutty, biscuity oak notes. Crisp nectarine flavours combine with lemon curd and apricot undertones to offer a creamy and rich palate. Supported and balanced by taut lemon acidity, these elegant elements culminate in a generous finale. The finish is marked by hazelnut and nougat characters. With a cellaring potential of three years, this alluring white wine tastes amazing with warm chicken salads served alongside mango, peach and Macadamia nuts.

Stella Bella Chardonnay

The most critical site selection is applied to vineyard sites for growing Stella Bella Chardonnay. Each location adds to the complexity of the wine due to the soils, aspects, clones and microclimates unique to the respective sites. Applied to this rich collection of unique vineyards is the inspiration and skill of the Stella Bella winemaking team that draws upon traditional Burgundian winemaking methods and the use of fine grain French oak to craft a layered, flavoursome and complex wine with the capacity to age gracefully.
