Nicely textured the palate opens with pear and red apple skin flavours which overlay a delicate citrusy honeysuckle like back drop. Finishes dry with lively acidity and a tangy aftertaste. Attractive & bright mid-straw colour. It has a very fine bead which is crucial to the texture of the wine and the tension on the palate. The aroma is a little more reserved than the Cuvee but will build with time in the bottle. Citrus and floral flavours with fine line of acidity. Hints of pinot red fruit in the background. There is excellent freshness & tension on the palate.
