Established in 1995, the 508 hectare Cumulus vineyard is one of the largest single vineyards in New South Wales, and which gently rises and falls across a range of elevations and slopes above and below 600m traversing both the Orange and Central Ranges wine regions. In such unique surroundings the Cumulus vineyard provides a range of elevations, terrains, volcanic soils and aspects which combined with the areas high altitude, intense sunlight and cool climate delivers wines with bright fruit flavours and subtle elegance. Cumulous Wines are crafted by a winemaking team led by the highly respected Group Chief Winemaker Rod Hooper in the Riverina and Debbie Lauritz in Orange. They source premium cool climate grapes from Orange, Central Ranges, the Clare Valley, Adelaide Hills, Coonawarra, McLaren Vale, Yarra Valley and Margaret River to present a comprehensive Australian offering from the most recognised and distinguished wine regions. Long term relationships with premium grape growers ensure access to the first class fruit.

From Printhies oldest vines, now more than 20 years old. A mix of open and static fermenters, 10 days on skins during ferment, matured in French and American oak for 10 months. Bright red colour. Classic Cabernet fruit profile with great purity and intensity but without a coating of heavy oak or masses of tannin. Bright, fresh drinkability with terrific palate balance.

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a watery hue. Aromas of green apple, red apple skin and orange zest have a subtle waxy overlay with hints of pear also evident. Nicely textured the palate opens with pear and red apple skin flavours which overlay a delicate citrusy honeysuckle like back drop. Finishes dry with lively acidity and a tangy aftertaste. Drink over the next 1-2 years. Alc. 12.5%

Vermentino is widely planted throughout the Mediterranean, often along the shore lines of both coasts and islands, where it produces bright clean lively wines with classic sea spray and wild herb characters. The variety has good acidity and can be made in several styles. The lighter aromatic style achieved with light pressing and cool fermentations generally without skin contact or oak maturation highlights the varieties fresh fruit and acidity. The grapes for our 2022 Vermentino are frome the Central Ranges grown at altitude on the slopes of Mount Canobolas at Orange. The wine was stored on lees in tank for 3 months prior to bottling. The resulting wine is pale straw in colour with slight green tinges. It has aromas of orange blossom, ripe nashi and a flinty background. The palate is rich with ripe citrus flavour and the wine finishes with a touch of salinity and a slight pithy grapefruit bitterness. The perfect wine with grilled sardines.

Viticulture: This fruit was grown in the cool climate region of Orange in NSW. Winemaking: A specially selected aromatic yeast was chosen while fermentation occurred in stainless steel.

Energetic nectarine and pineapple with alluring notes of struck match, flint and nougat. Rich, ripe and velvety, with an even mix of melon and fig, notes of white cheese and wood smoke, mouth-watering acidity, and balanced oak.

Dark purple with crimson edges. Attractive flavours of blackberry, olives and blackcurrant are presented within a structural wine.

This exciting and refined wine is the first Reserve vintage from our high altitude vineyards and should be reserved for your next special occasion or celebration. Tasting Notes Mid-deep red. Blackcurrant aromas with good intensity. Initial liquorice undertones. A little leafiness lifts the nose. Mid to full body. Strong Cabernet flavours – dark and red berries. Finishes with firm tannins and good length.

Rock Forest Vineyard is a cool climate vineyard on granite sand. The grapes are hand picked and fermented in steel vats with minimal intervention. The resulting wine is dry with a perfumed bouquet of melon and pear and a minerality that reflects the location. The flavour includes mild tannins and a hint of honey. A perfect accompaniment to cheese, salad or Asian food. Age characters will start to develop in 2-3 years.
