In Margaret River, considered one of Australia's premium chardonnay growing regions, Cape Mentelle creates wines of plush texture, depth and power, yet balanced with a fine frame of acidity. This Chardonnay is predominantly from our Chapman Brook Vineyard,established in 1994 in the cool southern half of Margaret River. The cooler climate captures the freshness and vibrancy of the variety. Yellow hay with a bright gold hue. A tropical nose of yellow peaches, melon and mandarin. Generous fruit intensity on the flowing palate, rich with rock melon, pistachio, lemon curd and orange blossom, lifting with a zesty, crisp acidity.

Medium bodied, the lively palate offers freshly squeezed citrus flavours combined with passionfruit, thyme and spice. An easy drinking varietal with wonderful purity fruit driven, honest and lip-smacking with crisp acidity and a clean refreshing finish.

Forester Estate Chardonnay is a refreshing fruit-driven wine. Pale lemon green in colour with intense roasted nuts, honey, ripe peach and a hint of smoky oak with lingering MLF on the nose. It is medium body with similar profile from the nose. Classic acidity structures with a toasty yet deliciously creamy finish.

Once & Well is an elegant example of Chardonnay from the cool climate of Margaret River. Once & Well sets a high benchmark for this wine style. Ripe stone fruit and spring florals with hints of spice and oak on the nose, this wine has a mouth watering acidity structure that complement the richer mouthfill of the wine beautifully.

This stunning Riesling from the West is all limes and citrus with great length and depth of flavour. The only problem with this wine is there is never enough to go around.

Blend of two-thirds Sauvignon Blanc and one-third Semillon gets a touch of barrel aging, reflected in its silky texture more than any overt aromas or flavours. The palate is fruit-forward, offering hints of citrus, under ripe nectarine and green apple, finishing long and mouth-watering. Overall a youthful and vibrant blend.

Great fruit expression with creamy stone fruit and fresh apple melded with bright citrus with a hint of tropical fruit. Rich mouthfeel and rounded palate siplaying hints of vanilla and butterscotch. Winemaking:Mostle machine harvested at night with some early morning handpicked fruit. Pressed into stainless steel tanks to settle, then racked to barrel while still hazy for wild ferment, allowing natural expression. Aged in a mix of old and new French barrels, with some lees stirring to build up texture and creaminess. Barrels carefully selected and blended to create the desired Chardonnay.
