This classic Italian style Montepulciano has an intense purple colour and aromas of blackberries, plums and black cherries, followed by hints of chocolate. The palate is dominated with boysenberries and black plum, perfectly balanced with generous silky tannins.

It might be little in stature but it's big in flavour delivering a medium weight fleshy and juicy red blend that shows ripe, red berry fruits and spice, some gentle tannins and a nicely rounded mouthfeel. Perfect with barbecued meats.

Red in colour, this is a fragrant and silky Pinot Noir wine with raspberry, cherry, vanilla, mixed spices and a mineral note. Its medium bodied but still very generous for Pinot Noir but very flavoursome and moreish. The Bare Touch wines are made by Cowpunk winemaker Aaron Mercer using early picked grapes, free run juice and a 'hands off' non intervention approach. The grapes are naturally lower in alcohol and with far less skin contact than a traditional red wine, the free run juice is bright and vibrant with significantly lower tannins. The 2018 Victorian Shiraz exhibits chocolate and warm berry fruits on the nose. On the palate, pepper and spice dominate the American oak's chocolate richness. Established in 2005 by the Hill-Smith family, Redbank Victoria specialises in ultra-cool climate wines from the valleys of Eastern Victoria. The vineyards are nestled in the high country of the Victorian alpine region as well as the King Valley, and some select vineyards in Beechworth. Winemaker Marc van Halderen and viticulturist Nick Dry have a simple philosophy: great wine is made in the vineyard.
