A true expression of Chardonnay grown at Lyndoch in the Barossa Valley in all its fruitful glory. Intense bouquet is pleasantly fruity with highlights of green pear and clingstone peach accented by the flowery notes of apple blossom against a genteel boisé background. The palate is a rush of citrus and white peach with fresh acidity. Clean, lemon-citrus and Pink Lady apples with a layer of minerality and viscosity. Pale in colour, this bright, fresh Picpoul has lifted aromas of Spring blossoms, lemon myrtle and lemon zest. The palate displays green apples, honeysuckle, lemon and lime making it a lovely fresh, crisp drinking white wine. Originating from the South of France, Picpoul is famously paired with Oysters and seafood. Best enjoyed chilled.

These vibrant fragrances are replicated on the juicy palate, where they are balanced by subtle sweetness and sharp acidity. This wonderful Riesling ends in a zingy and refreshing finale. Crafted to be enjoyed as an aperitif, it can also be served with beef curry, or fresh and raw fish.

Another multi regional wine from Peppertree, the Chardonnay is a blend of Hunter Valley 50%, Wrattonbully 35% and Orange 15%. The three regions make up a wine that shows lifted aromas of white peach and pineapple, a generously fruit driven palate packed with ripe fruits balanced well by subtle barrel ferment complexity, providing a long refined finish.

One of the earliest and most condensed in history thanks largely to a dry and warm growing season. A very wet July was followed by some of the driest spring months on record, led to some great flavour and colour development and the resulting wines are packed with delicious ripe flavours.
