West Cape Howe Langton Vineyard Great Southern Pinot Noir
Howard Park 'Terroir' Cabernet Sauvignon
Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are sourced from several select vineyard sites located in the Wilyabrup sub region and north to Wildwood Rd in an endeavour to capture ripe fruit flavours, supple tannins and the distinctive perfume of Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon. A deep and inviting black cherry colour with floral notes of violets and fruity, doughy aromas of just baked blackberry muffins. The palate is soft, inviting, and full of free range forest fruits, vanilla, cocoa and loads of supple, fine tannin. Such a pleasure to drink now but with ample ripe tannin structure to allow for aging up to 5 years.
Stella Bella Cabernet Sauvignon
A rich, lush wine of abundant fruits - red currants, mulberries, plums, blackberries, blueberries and cassis, this ambling fruit richness is complimented by plentiful ripe fruit tannins and the finest grained French oak.
Singlefile Pinot Noir
The pinot noir grape variety seems to be well suited to the cool climate environment of the Denmark sub-region of the Great Southern. The pinot noir fruit from Robertsons vineyard typically displays floral and perfumed characters with an underlying dense cherry and raspberry fruit profile followed by a subtle savoury finish. The Wine is a fuller styled pinot with perfumed aromas of red raspberries, cherries, subtle earthiness and spice. These characters follow through on the palate with a medium weight and textured mouth feel with soft tannins and a long finish. This wine is well suited to complement red meat dishes especially duck. Drink now or allow this to continue to develop in the bottle for up to 7 years.
Pierro LTCf Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot
Montague Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
This is a classic Wilyabrup Cabernet – but with a twist. Rather than crafting a cabernet with massive architecture, we wanted to table a wine that dispensed with a poignant tannic structure, yet still delivered on the beauty that is Cabernet from this region.
Rivendell Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
The perfume is driven by a combination of violets, ripe cherries and cedar notes. A powerful palate of plums, black currants andnuances of bay leaf. Food Matches: rack of lamb, roasted vegetable lasagne ora juicy rib-eye steak. Peak drinking: Ready to enjoy on release but cellaring upto 10 years from vintage will find further complexity.
The Bartondale Cabernet Sauvignon
COLOUR Deep red with purple hues NOSE Enhanced fragrance of ripe black fruits, mulberry and cherry, woven with essence of fine oak maturation. PALATE An outstanding combination of fine black forest fruits and tannins balance with the fruit acid in perfect harmony. A wine of concentrated power that leave a rich, juicy, dry mouthfeel. VINTAGE The longest vintage many have experienced with late ripening due to the cool climate conditions in Margaret River. A mentally challenging year, where patience and hard work in the vineyard was rewarded with beautifully concentrated fruit.
Woodlands Cabernet Merlot
Woodlands Cabernet Merlot is one of the regions best examples. The Watson brothers are the custodians of a family heritage in Margaret River that continues to this day. The Cabernet Merlot has attractive and complex aromas of dark berry and plum supported by well integrated vanillin oak. The palate shows similar characters with outstanding length of flavour and perfect balance. Drink now or cellar short term.
Flametree Cabernet Merlot
A lovely example of Margaret River Cabernet Merlot, Flametree Cabernet Merlot is showing big dense fruit characters of blackcurrant and stewed plums. A silky seamless palate with rich fruit concentration and chocolaty complexity. Matured in French oak barrels has softened and rounded this wine.
