Another wonderfully structured, single vineyard gris from ourrugged, coastal vineyard. For anyone who loves a texturalwhite with a crisp and lasting finish, it has a nose of nashi pear and a delicious, lingering palate of citrus and green apple. One that drinks well now but will also cellar well for several years.

100% pinot gris grapes come from different areas located in the south of France: vineyards which are under Mediterranean influence and whose clay and limestone soils bring aromatic richness to the wine, and cooler vineyards in the Aude Valley whose grapes lend finesse and freshness. A floral and fruity nose (lychee, vineyard peach, lemon and grapefruit) that meld with a touch of white pepper and ginger. Round and refreshing on the palate.

Located on the southeastern shore of Lake Wakatipu, the Remarkables mountain range lives up to its name by rising sharply to create an impressive backdrop for the surrounding waters. This finely textured wine lives up to its namesake. This classic Central Otago style has glorious baked-apple, pear and rosewater aromas. Its dry palate shows orange rind, candied ginger and baking spice characters. A finely balanced palate gives the wine weight and length.

Barone Montalto is a crisp and delicious Sicilian pinot grigio, grown at 500 metres on the north-east facing slopes of the Belice Valley. This exotic example of Pinot Grigio has a straw to pale gold colour. On the nose, fresh and clean fruity notes of pear, green apple and white peaches. The palate is true to the nose with a fresh acidity, coriander and lime notes followed by a crisp finish. Drink with shellfish or risotto.
