A wine with the pizazz of a unicorn but the expression of a rhino. It will charge the palate with aromas of white blossom and peach. A slightly spritzed wine that is fresh and luscious with a touch of acidity. Dazzling not just to the eye but to every sense.

Made in the traditional Italian style, fruit was sourced predominantly from the Del Rios vineyard in Victoria and gently pressed using airbag presses and the resulting free run juice was then chilled to 4 degrees and filtered before fermentation. Post fermentation the wine was cold stabilised and lightly fined before being cold filtered ready for bottling. Tropical fruit and pear flavours and hints of citrus provide a fresh, clean, crisp style with a medium bodied palate. A delicate aroma of pear and passionfruit with floral undertone.

Ninth Island Pinot Grigio is full bodied with a lifted bouquet of exotic fruits like banana and pear. Refreshingly balanced by crisp acidity. Great price for such high quality and a wonderful introduction to the new 'it' variety.

A relative newcomer on the Australian wine scene, Pinot Grigio offers a real alternative to the more traditional white varieties. Yalumba provide an exellent example here with a spicy, flavoursome, textured and a great food match styled wine.
