Brown Brothers were one of the first Australian producers to embrace this aromatic and vibrant variety. The Italian heritage allows this 'Grigio' to be true to its Meditteranean roots producing flavours of lifted aromas of citrus and pear that follow onto the palate which is crisp, dry and mouthfilling.

The fruit for this Onannon Mornington Pinot Gris was handpicked and pressed immediately into the tank. It is then settled overnight and racked to both tank and old barrels. A cool fermentation took place over two months during which the wine was stirred regularly to increase texture. Resulting in wine with great aromas such as ripe pears, mixed stone fruits with hints of cooked green apple in the background. It then leads to a full flavoured, textured palate with a delightful finish.

Coldstream Hills was established in 1985 by James and Suzanne Halliday and has since grown to become one of Australia's leading and most awarded small wineries. With it's fruit sourced from cool climate Tasmanian vineyards, the wine has notes of fragrant apple blossom with ripe fruits of yellow peach and mandarin, augmented with hints of five spice.
