Three friends, including two Australians, went on a trip to Guadalajara, Mexico back in 2005. It was there between sips of tequila that they made a pact to begin the journey to make extraordinary tequila. They found partners in maverick master distiller, Marco Cedano, and his son Rodrigo. Very pale straw gold appearance. Fairly restrained on the nose with a soft, seamlessly integrated amalgam of vanilla, green tomato and chile peppers followed by traces of mint. A soft light entry expands to reveal a light to medium bodied reposado with a slightly oily texture and restrained vanilla / agave and pepper flavours intensifying towards a deliciously salty finish.
