Nugan Durif exhibits aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and cherry with hints of aniseed and all-spice. A full-bodied wine displaying soft chewy tannins and a youthful fine acid balance with a generous palate of dark cherry and plum pudding with dusty chocolate, earth and spice. Durif is otherwise known as Petit Syrah.

This Mr Mick Rosé is very close to the Tuscan style of rosé, with the alluring complexity of bright red fruits that lingers on the palate before a cleansing, dry finish with fresh acidity at the end. Lovely pale Rosé colour. Light and fragrant with notes of brioche, wild strawberry and pomegranate. Gentle creamy flavours, fine bubbles, fresh as a daisy and very drinkable.

The wine has a tawny colour with hints of red. The aroma is a mix of ripe berry fruit, with rancio characters from extended barrel maturation. On the palate there is ripe fruit giving a generous mouth feel with hints of vanilla and chocolate. The wine has an attractive drying finish.

The wine has a rich amber colour. With aromas of raisins, candied peel and spice with notes of sweet butterscotch. The palate is intense showing the benefit of time in barrel with concentrated fruit and lovely balanced sweetness. Hip Sip does its ageing in the old oak barrels prior to bottling and will not age further in the bottle. Once opened it should be consumed in about a month.
