Medium to full yellow colour. The bouquet is powerful and buttery, with a hint of citrus peel. The palate is likewise rich, opulent, fat and round, with velvety texture and lots of flavour - without being over the top or too alcoholic or oaky, like so many American chardies of recent past experience. It's quite forward, but offers a lot of traditional chardonnay flavour for the money.

Notes of peach blossom and subtle jasmine create lift and combines with cardamom pod, almond meal and roasted cashew. The palate has immense purity, with power and persistence. Isabel Estate Chardonnay exudes bright, ripe fruit such as grapefruit and lemon with upfront acidity. Complex aromas of sweet nuttiness, ripe figs and a touch of melon follow closely by with delicious nougat and caramel. Finish is creamy and lingering. Not one to miss.
