From some of the earliest plantings of Shiraz in the Yarra Valley with vines dating back to 1969. Pale, straw colour with insinuations of green. Overt, ripe varietal fruit characters on the nose - pineapple, citrus and nectarine derived are from the warm vintage conditions. Mineral characters, orange blossom and almond meal along with some lees derived creaminess are all balanced within this multi-dimensional palate.

A typically elegant Yarra Cabernet. The nose shows cassis and blackberry aromas with subtle cedary oak and the palate has a silky mouthfeel with sweet berry flavours and a lovely lingering finish.

Located in the heart of Montagne de Reims, Champagne Paul Louis Martin is blessed with an outstanding Grand Cru vineyard site that faces due South on chalky soil and is protected by North winds from the mountains adjoining the region. The Grand Cru Champagne is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay and delivery a complex, full flavoured Champagne with a fine notes of dried fruits along with hazelnuts and almonds. Rich and palate covering, this is a boutique style sparkling wine best suited to intensely flavoured cuisine.

Giant Steps plays it's part in the rapid accension of Australian Chardonnay back to the position it once held here. That being of the king of white varieties.
