Located in the heart of Montagne de Reims, Champagne Paul Louis Martin is blessed with an outstanding Grand Cru vineyard site that faces due South on chalky soil and is protected by North winds from the mountains adjoining the region. The Grand Cru Champagne is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay and delivery a complex, full flavoured Champagne with a fine notes of dried fruits along with hazelnuts and almonds. The wine comes from the purest grape juice and it alone allows Laurent-Perrier to craft 'La Cuvée', a champagne of great finesse and a beautiful freshness obtained after a long ageing process in our cellars. The strength of the toasty notes from the Chardonnay recedes gradually to allow the sensation of spicy overtones of thyme and bay leaf to emerge. There are hints of white tobacco and dried flowers as well. Thanks to the presence of the reserve wines in the blend you begin to find warm praline flavours and toasted, grilled notes, gingerbread, almond, hazelnut balanced by fruit notes of peach and ripe apricots. The freshness on the palate comes from the Chardonnay in the blend and this also brings elegance to the finished wine.

Exceptionally, this Champagne has had more than 10 years of ageing on its lees, giving it remarkable complexity and depth. This vintage offers an aromatic harmony of grilled, toasty notes and the well-rounded body is thanks to the Chardonnay in the blend that has been grown in the Grande Montagne de Reims. Citrus fruit, such as grapefruit, caress the taste buds and impart a distinguished freshness. The spicy notes on the finish are a signature style of Champagne Castelnau.

The Collection blend is dominated by Chardonnay which was of exceptional quality in the 2017 vintage. The perfectly ripe Chardonnay grapes lend the wine its aromas of ripe, sweet fruit complemented by subtle oaky notes. The palate is rich and ripe with a luxurious texture that coats the palate, the signature of an outstanding Chardonnay. The Pinot noir and Meunier grapes from the Vallée de la Marne complete the wines broad, luscious, smooth and juicy character. The finish is energetic and fresh.

This luscious Champagne has a crisp structure and is loaded with red grapes. It is well-balanced, smooth, and generously fruity, and it is ready to drink. This blend of 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay is rose petal pink in colour, with persistent mousse and a chain of fine bubbles. On the nose it is fresh and generous with intensely complex aromas of red fruit, wild cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry. On the palate there are delicate red berries and structure from the Pinot Noir while the Chardonnay bring freshness and balance.

Pale straw colour nuanced by amber in the core. A complex nose showing perfumed peach and light honeyed pear aromas. The spirited mousse evolves on the palate with a freshness from Chardonnay and developed complexity led by Pinot varietals. The cleansing acidity is long and refined with impressive retention and mouthfeel.
