Located at the western reach of the Great Dividing Range, the Pyrenees is one of the most naturally beautiful wine regions in Australia. Once dubbed the natural garden of Victoria it’s valleys and hills have stood for generations. These valleys teemed with gold miners in the 19th century, and as gold became scarce, vineyards were developed. Taltarni led the revitalisation of wine growing in the Pyrenees in the 1960s. The rolling hills, sweeping vistas, bluffs and stands of gum trees create a magnificent setting to produce outstanding wines. Luna Belle NV by Taltarni reflects the importance of the natural environment and beauty of the area. A sparkling wine made in the traditional method is straw in colour with aromas of green apple, lemon curd & brioche. The palate is refreshing and elegant with exceptional fruit length showing all the hallmarks of a fine Australian sparkling wine.

The Wither Hills Pinot Gris has lovely fruit and aromas of ripe white peach, citrus and quince. It is off-dry on the palate with some refreshing acidity and beautiful succulent mouth feel. Perfect with a range of different dishes from salty cheeses to stronger flavour dishes such as wood smoked salmon or roast pork.

Giesen's Pinot Gris is an beautifully aromatic and vibrant white wine balanced with subtle elegance. A nose of poached pear along with notes of almond, dry spice and a whiff of vanilla. In the mouth the wine continues to please with tropical fruit tones and a textural brioche characteristic. Along with the attractive fruit and moutfeel, the wine is impeccably structured with cooling acid lines and a length of flavour that is nothing short of persistent.

Cherry, raspberry and rose petal aromas are intermingled with hints of blueberry. Juicy cherry flavours of Grenache continue in a rich, ripe, textured palate. Terrific with smoked salmon.

Approachable, generous and flavoursome with a silken elegance. Berry fruits come to the fore with gentle dried herb notes in the background. Medium bodied, the palate is finely structured with lovely soft lingering tannins which integrate perfectly with the soft supportive acid and plush fruit.

The Dagger has been honed to create a vibrant, rich, earlier drinking wine displaying all of the hallmark aromas flavours and texture of Pinot Noir.

Deep Woods Estate Harmony Rosé continues a run of excellent vintages, combining freshness and lightness that is satisfying and simply mouth-watering. Pale pink colour with salmon hues, a wild strawberry nose with a hint of lifted violet notes. Palate is dry, with well-balanced acidity displaying raspberry and strawberry fruit flavours and a beautifully persistent finish.

Juicy redcurrant and raspberry flavours, slight minerality expressing stone fruit and citrus notes perfectly balanced with subtle creaminess and a crisp natural acidity.
