From the first sip, it wraps around your palate with rich, mouth-filling flavour and just the right amount of tannin grip. Got patience? It’ll only get better with age (but we won’t blame you if it disappears this weekend). Perfect with a backyard BBQ, a fireside chat, or just a little ‘me time’. This Shiraz is the kind of bottle you bring out when you want to impress — or when you just want a bloody good glass of red.

Take It To The Grave Pinot Noir is blood red in colour with a lifted and varietal nose of wild strawberries, ripe plums and cherries. The palate is rich and expressive with supple cherry and red berried fruit, a beautifully lush mouth-feel matched by fine tannins and soft acidity that provide structure and length.

Restrained red fruit with a background of menthol, leather and tobacco on the nose leads to a big mouthful of cherries, vanilla and plums with good intensity. A nicely balanced wine, drinking very well.

According to chief winemaker, Sue Hodder, The Siding Cabernet Sauvignon aims to deliver a leading affordable Cabernet that showcases exceptional varietal and region characteristics of red cherry, mint and dark berry flavours, while an array of gentle tannins will further reward from short to medium term cellaring.

Yalumba Y Series Merlot is soft and supple, with sweet, ripe fruit flavours and a hint of liquorice or anise. Merlot is an excellent alternative to the heavier and more tannic red varieties.

Jim Barry Watervale Riesling from the Clare Valley is all about the musk, bracing acidity and juicy limes.
