Beautiful fruit sourced from Mount Barker has gone into this excellent stylish and elegant cabernet. Deep, dark and inky; a complex black olive bouquet, with a very rich, powerful and heady mix of cassis, cedar and a little violet thrown in for good measure. Excellent firm structure threads through the controlled intense and balanced palate. A little astringency on the finish. Plenty of blackcurrant and savoury plum flavours with a touch of cedary oak. Cellar 6 years.

Leeuwin Estate Siblings Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc

Fragrant and energetic, the nose has an abundance of lycee, kiwifruit and blackcurrant with lime curd and lemon sherbet. Thai basil, sliced fennel, ginger and citrus blossom sit neatly in the background. A gentle entry leads to a delicately textured mid palate. Bursting lemon, lime and grapefruit dominate throughout with bright acidity, a slightly savoury line and a talc-like finish.

Plan B! Frankland River Dry Riesling

Only the clear free run juice was retained and vinified at cooltemperatures to capture the pristine varietal flavours and aromas. Settled post fermentation and bottled early to retain freshness. Unfined.Vibrant aromatics of lemon and lime blossom, with talc and minerality. The palate is generous showing great persistence of soft citrus acidity and textural weight leading a long andstructured finish of line and length without undue austerity.

Plan B! Off-Dry Riesling

Grapes for this wine were carefully sourced from select vineyards in the Great Southern region.The fruit was picked at night when the natural sugar levels were near 10 Baumé and the acid was in good balance.Only the clear free run juice was retained and vinified at cool temperatures to preserve varietal flavours and aromas. The resulting wine was made in an off dry style which retains the natural fruit sugars in tandem with a zesty mineral acidity. Its a riot of semi-sweet freshness and citrussy zing.

Marchand & Burch Chardonnay

The bouquet is an enticing mix of white field flowers, grapefruit, pear essence and brioche. Enriched with layers of nougat and nut-meal, the palate's fine, creamy texture is supported by toasted vanillin oak. A bright citrus and chalky lactic acidity adds restraint and length to finish the wine. 'This latest release from the partnership of Jeff Burch and Burgundian winemaker Pasca Marchand is one of the best. Comes off a high point in the Porongurups, with the fruit being naturally fermented and then given 10 months on yeast lees to gather complexity.
