We are thrilled to present this latest edition of summer thirst quenching rosés to the range. Located in the picturesque Anjou district of France's western Loire Valley, the region is famous for producing generously flavoured, textural wines with various levels of sweetness. The two red grapes used in production, Grolleau and Cabernet Franc impart a delicious spectrum of summer red berry fruit, combining the classic stylistic descriptor of 'strawberries and cream'.

This latest release from Petaluma Croser is a non vintage sparkling wine. The classic blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay offers a delicate bouquet of fresh citrus and white peach with a light yeastiness on the nose. Persistence bubbles with a dry long finish.

Brown Brothers have added the Prosecco Rosato to join the original, and much loved, Prosecco. In the glass there is a rose-gold colour and a soft nose of strawberry and apple skins. With the addition of a touch of Cienna to the Prosecco, the sparkling wine retains its trademark acidity while showcasing a softer, rounder side to the palate. The aroma is rich with flavours of ripe blackcurrant and savoury herbs. The flavour shows spice and vanilla oak with a smooth structure and silky finish. Related to the Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon grapes have a thick skin making them higher in tannins than varieties such as Pinot Noir. This grape is popular due to its ability to be grown in a range of soils and climates from Australia and abroad such as Coonawarra, Margaret River, France and Chile. As a result, Cabernet Sauvignon is a full bodied wine with flavours of blackberry, currant and cinnamon. It pairs well hearty red meats, winter stews and even rich chocolate desserts.
