For nearly a decade, Shaun and Liz have been producing award winning wines for a number of the Hunter Valley’s most successful brands. The 2013 vintage marked the first of Silkman Wines, since then they have received numerous awards, most notably in the 2016 James Halliday Wine Companion where they were awarded 5 Stars as well as being named among the 10 Best New Wineries in Australia.Their Chardonnay is long and elegant with notes of citrus and creamy mouthfeel delivering a wine with great persistence and body.

Hungerford Hill Dalwood Vineyard Hunter Valley Chardonnay

David Hook David Hook Chardonnay

Tasting notes: This wine is pale gold in colour with youthful green tinges. The aroma is fresh and intense with lime citrus and background of ripe peach fruit characters. The palate is clean and lively with a soft but crisp citrus acid finish Cellaring: This wine is ready to drink now, best drunk young while its perfume is most heady and the palate fresh. Food Accompaniment: Great with Asian cuisine, Mediterranean pasta, salad.

Briar Ridge Stockhausen Chardonnay

The Stockhausen Chardonnay was created by Briar Ridge in a style paying homage to the pioneers of the Hunter Valley around 40 years ago. It is rich and creamy with ripe peach and tropical notes.
