Add the skills of leading Chardonnay exponent David Bicknell and these hand-picked grapes become wines that express their variety and origin with consummate precision and flair.

Attractive aromas of citrus and tropical fruits with hints of nougat and talc. The medium weight textural palate displays vibrant flavours of citrus fruits, dried pears and some riper tropical notes. The restrained use of French oak and wild yeast fermentation adds subtle complexity and texture to the palate which finishes with a clean mineral edge.

Vintage 2021 Region Hunter/Hilltops, NSW. This year's wine is inspired by the classic Alsatian white wines of France, wines that are fruit driven and often a sweet touch. The aromas are of fig and tropical fruits with obvious and well- integrated French oak and yeast complexity. The wine has a round palate with layers of flavour and a well structured mouth feel.
