Crafted from grapes sourced from only the old and gnarled vines from some of the Barossa Valley's most historic sites, this wine demonstrates the living history inherited from this region's forefathers and their legacy for quality. The dense purple red colour highlights the aroma of dark cherry, blackberry and cedar oak. The palate is full of intense dark fruits, with supporting mocha oak, sweet spices and hints of black pepper. A contemporary expression grown from red brown earth and ironstone, it is a full-bodied powerhouse filled with herbs, dark cacao and sensuous dark cherry. Grippy and chewy on the palate, time will see good things.
