This wonderfully elegant Shiraz shows intense, pristine, blackberry fruit and ripe, silky tannins. It almost has a Pinot Noir elegance to it and, luckily, the quality of future vintages will only be getting better too as Voyager's new clones come on line.

APPEARANCE Light salmon pink. NOSE Attractive characters of lifted strawberry, vibrant red fruits witha hint of citrus florals and spice. PALATE This refreshingly dry, light-bodied Rose with vibrant acidityand generous raspberry and red berry fruits has a fresh, savouryfinish.

Double Barrel Shiraz has a full and generous palate with a beguiling mix of sweet red fruits and dark chocolate indicative of its origins as Barossa Shiraz. Subtle toasty vanillin derives from aging in traditional French and American oak wine barrels. The careful use of aged Scotch whisky barrels for finishing has added complex nuances of almond-husks and also softened the dense tannins to yield an incredible smoothness.

Light bodied wine, early harvested grapes resulting in a lower alcohol content. Full luscious berry, plum & spice, with a smooth finish.

Sourced from the higher altitude Barossa region of the Eden Valley, the wine was fully de-stemmed before fermenting on skins for a week without crushing. The result is a complex, velvet-like textured wine with overflowing characters of blueberry, blackcurrant and milk chocolate.
