Barokes Bubbly Chardonnay Semillon Bin 242 is a wonderful bubbly drink providing a classy chardonnay blend. There are tropical characters on the palate with a pleasant creamy aftertaste and an appealing crisp acidity.

Our Wine Panel was floored by this. Beautifully balanced tropicals and white flowers were more than what we even hoped for, with clean refreshing acidity. Sensational!

Winemaking:The grapes for this wine were picked at night to keep the temperature cool and enhance fruit quality and freshness.The wine was fermented in tank over a 14 day period with temperature control to retain fruit intensity. This Pinot Noir, sourced from premium Australian wine regions, is a light bodied, elegant wine highlighting the ripe plum fruit on the finish.

Attractive coppery pink in the glass. The nose has notes of musk, candied orange peel, fresh blood orange, sour cherry, fresh herbs and a slight Campari twist. Bitter-edged on the palate with that blood orange note, with musky pear, peach and strawberry fruit. It has a soft phenolic texture along with zesty tannins that add a pleasant grip. Finishes dry, clean and tangy. Engaging and moreish, with impressive finesse for this style of wine, and with a good volume of fresh fruit to balance the phenolic and savoury skinsy elements.

Abracadabra and just like that the grapes from the vines magically turn into flavoursome wine. This smooth Chardonnay with aromas of blossums and white peaches lift across that palate leaving a fine, crisp finish. Perfectly suited with grilled salmon and creamy sauce dishes.
