Reserve Black Velvet Shiraz 2015 This is a perfect blend of red and white grape varieties developed in the Cotes du Rhone district in Southern France. It is made possible due to both varieties maturing at the same time. They are crushed and fermented together to merge the flavours of these two noble varieties. Usually 3-5% Viognier is ample to introduce the floral aromas and contribute to the wines softness in the mouth. This wine has retained the Shiraz characters of cherry and raspberry with Viognier adding the floral aromas and slipperiness in the mouth.

Bright yet deep in colour, Lola’s Paddock Shiraz starts with wild berry and fine French Oak aromas lifting from the glass. It is matured in fine French Oak and created to be intense in flavour, yet soft and approachable upon release. The palate is an ensemble of rich, ripe, gathered black fruits, with elements of mixed savoury spice, continuing to impress in succulent ways. Silken tannins create the perfect finish.

The nose has wonderful lift of raspberry fruits, floral notes, choc mintand a herbal, menthol note. The medium to full bodied palate has juicy red fruits, blackcurrant, earthy, savoury notes and black olives. The oak has introduced a cedary, roasted meat character. Soft silky tannins define the mid palate and complement the vibrant and juicy fruit. It finishes long with berry fruit, fine tannins and cedary oak. Drink young while it is vibrant and fresh but will age in the medium term for up to ten years.

The wine has intense dark chocolate and plum aromas, while these components carry through to the palate added mocha; spice and pepper fill the mouth. Velvety tannins and lush rich fruit combine to deliver structure and balance offering enjoyment now and over the next 10 plus years from vintage.

Laughing Jack Greenock Shiraz is sourced from vineyards exclusively in the Greenock sub-region of the Barossa Valley. Located in the Valley's western edge, Greenock imparts warm, plush fruit characters with a dark chocolate and leather backbone. The Laughing Jack shows all of these qualities in abundance, especially the dark chocolate aspect with real concentration of flavour. A very powerful wine.

The 2003 Seven Acre Shiraz displays typical flavours of plum, blackberry with slight hints of pepper and dark chocolate. The lacy tannin structure balances the wine tremendously and really reminds you why Greenock Creek are producing some of the world's best wines.
