The Domaine de La Pousse d'Or is distinguished by its 5 grands crus, 11 premier crus including 3 monopolies, in Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. Offering you the purest expression of exceptional terroirs has been the Domaine's obsession for centuries. Today, work in the vineyards in biodynamics, the long and gentle bio-controlled vinification, accompanied by aging on lees, contribute to the exceptional balance, finesse and richness, of the estate.

Domaine Michel Noellat Du Dessus Grand Cru

Confuron Cotetidot Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru

The domaine has an impressive portfolio of vineyards with several Grands Crus and the revered Premier Cru of Les Suchots. The Confurons have always taken the greatest care in the vineyards, performing their own massale selection of vines (ie selecting and using the healthiest plants for propagation), which are on average 65 years old. Unusually for Burgundy, their vineyards have never been treated with herbicides or pesticides, and the vine roots penetrate deep into the soils, giving the grapes a minerality that defines our terroir.

Louis Jadot Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru Clos Saint-Jacques

Confuron Cotetidot Echezeaux Grand Cru

Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot Grand Cru, Echezeaux The Premier Cru terroirs of Les Suchots divide the Echézeaux Grand Cru plots from those of the Vosne-Romanée, a stones throw to the south. Here, in this part of the world, Pinot Noir achieves it zenith, at least in the eyes (indeed all senses) of Burgundy obsessives. At Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot organic practices come by way of tradition rather than the usual born-again idea than if it was good enough for my grand-père and so on. The wine itself see very little piégeage and more time on oak than many others (18-24 months). What results is the finest of the Domaines Grand Crus, unlike the weightier Vougeots and Chambertins. The Confuron-Cotetidot Echézeaux Grand Cru is dreamily aromatic and perfectly cut on the palate, not a stitch out of place.
