Dark red in colour, a rich and complex nose, with aromas of ripe blackberry and black pepper spice, typical of cool climate Adelaide Hills Shiraz, intermingled with a subtle sweet cedar note from maturation in French oak barrels. The palate is vibrant and silky smooth, with ripe blackberry fruit flavours and lively spice. A wine that combines richness and elegance, with subtle oak nuances and fine tannins, giving the wine a firm structure and long lasting finish.

This is a lovely, easy flowing shiraz from the Adelaide Hills that also packs a weighty punch - full of dark fruit and raspberry with sweet oak and spice flavours. It's a lovely example of what shiraz from "the Hills" can be - and all from a single block off a small family owned winery.

This is the 7th release of this flagship wine sourced exclusively from vines that used to feed Eileen Hardy Shiraz. This nose exhibits white pepper and spice, the palate is full bodied with layers of black and blue fruits finishing with firm yet fine tannins that will see this wine cellar well into the 2030s. One for cellar or decant now for an hour before serving.

Richly styled and expressed with dark plum, blackberry, thyme and hazelnut aromas, it's plump and flavoursome in the mouth offering succulent fruit intensity with velvety texture and layers of fine-grained tannins. The S&G Shiraz stands as a powerful yet polished statement of Mt Lofty Ranges Vineyard's mastery of cool climate winemaking. Sourced from multiclonal selections and matured in 1 yr old French oak, this wine delivers a bold intensity of blackberry, cherry and plum, with whole bunch fermentation adding lift and depth. A subtle, savoury herbal note emerges gracefully through the mid palate, wrapped in beautifully silky tannins and supported by a firm, finely structured backbone. Vibrant spice, a hallmark of the Adelaide Hills, threads through the wine, while the oak integrates seamlessly, rounding out the layers of flavour. Effortlessly elegant yet deeply expressive, this is a definitive, age-worthy expression of Adelaide Hills Shiraz.

A refined expression of cool climate Shiraz, sourced from a slightly warmer pocket of the Adelaide Hills to deliver both vibrancy and depth. Bursting with dark red and black fruits. Think juicy plum, blackberry and ripe cherry. The palate is plush and fruit forward before giving way to a beautifully spiced mid palate reminiscent of Christmas cake and clove with a hint of black pepper. Around 30% new French oak brings subtle toast and warmth to the finish, adding layers of complexity without overpowering the wine's silky structure. Elegant, balanced and undeniably moreish. This is a polished Adelaide Hills Shiraz with both poise and personality.

The Dagger has been deliberately honed to create a vibrant, rich, earlier drinking Pinot with all the red fruit plumpness of classic Pinot Noir. Drink young while the edge is keen.
