The 2021 Estate Grown Shiraz is a blend from Tyrrell's Short Flat, Weinkeller, and NVC Vineyards. These dry grown blocks were planted in 1968, 1970 and 1996. These three blocks produce a modern style of Shiraz that has both richness and approachability and pays homage to the classic Hunter River Burgundies (HRB) of the mid-twentieth century.

This Heathcote Sangiovese shows the classical sour cherry flavours with a balanced and integrated structure that is crying out for a antipasto plate.

Matured in vats and casks for 7 months. Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a dark red hue. Lifted dark raspberry and liquorice aromas combine with vanillin oak, earth and spice. Juicy dark raspberry, liquorice and dark cherry fruits carry medium body weight over an earth and vanillin spice back drop. Good flesh and freshness with slightly chewy tannins and a lively dark fruited conclusion. Drink over the next 2-3 years. Alc. 14.5%

The Tar & Roses Tempranillo is a great example of what 20 year old Tempranillo vines are achieving in Australia. On the nose there are juicy rich mulberries, freshly dug earth with hints of blackcurrant and aniseed. The palate has impressive length, balance and structure.

Brooding in style, the Mail Coach Shiraz is a medium to full-bodied wine showing dense regional fruit and impeccable balance on the palate. High-end French oak contributes to a tasty and supple tannin-profile, and together with concentrated primary fruit, ensures further complexity and development in bottle. 'This excellent current-drinking shiraz gets just a little Viognier to tickle up the spices a tad. The palate has that typical grainy gravelly Heathcote character.
