A Cote du Rhone classic, this shiraz oozes character and flavour with a complex array of black fruits and spices compiled with a gentle structure of tannins and judicious use of oak. The wine offers a complex array of fruit aromas of black fruit, spice, cloves and olive. The oak aromas are of char and vanillin spice. On the palate an elegant wine given the vintage and is tightly packed full of black fruit, spice, cloves, and olive. The oak characters are beautifully integrated into the wine, giving the wine structure and adding power, balance, and a savoury richness. Whilst enjoyable now, this wine will reward careful cellaring for up to 6 years. Superb with slow roasted lamb shoulder, veal ragu tossed through freshly made pasta - and is the perfect guest to bring along to your next BBQ.

In the glass this wine is a deep magenta colour with crimson/purple edges. The nose exudes vibrant aromas of violets, spice and ripe berry flavours. The palate has intense dark berries and clove spice. It is a medium bodied wine with good length.
