Cape Mentelle's Cabernet Sauvignon under the guidance of Rob Mann has become one of Australia's most prestigious Cabernet's. Sourced from what many believe to be the true home to Cabernet in Australia, the Margaret River, Cape Mentelle produce a wine that has a plush full-flavoured palate of concentrated blackcurrants and mulberries with a minerally spine. A classic Beechworth Chardonnay, straw-gold with a green tinge: aromas of hazelnut, yellow peach, and nuances of matchstick mingled with spicy-oak notes of ginger and orange zest; the attack is full of rich, peach and nectarine fruit flavours.

This Bourgogne Blanc comes from parcels situated exclusively within the Meursault commune and bordering the land classified as Appellation Meursault Villages. The soil is a clay limestone mix and the subsoil is gravel. As with our Villages and Premiers Crus parcels, the soil is ploughed and partially grassed. The wine-making and maturing processes are identical to those of our Villages and Premiers Crus wines.

Complex and layered with wonderful fruit purity, Yabby Lake Single Vineyard Chardonnay is a finely structured, tightly honed style. The fruit is a hand-picked field blend of different clones. Each parcel is vinified separately and is pressed into tight grain large French oak puncheons for wild yeast fermentation. Eleven months maturation on lees imparts attractive nutty complexity.

An elegant and restrained cool-climate style Shaw & Smith M3 Chardonnay has been at the forefront of the modern Australian Chardonnay renaissance. Displaying notes of nectarine and citrus underpinned by crisp acidity, it evolves over time to reveal layers of toasty, mealy complexity.

The wines of Fraser Gallop Estate are intensely flavoured, textured and complex. Only the finest quality French oak barrels are used for all Fraser Gallop Estate wines, with very specific Bordelais coopers used for the Cabernet Sauvignon and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blends, and Burgundian coopers for the Chardonnay. The complete winemaking process takes place at the estate - picking to vinification to barrel maturation to bottling to cellaring. Fraser Gallop Estate is an estate grown, produced and bottled wine. Flavours of lemon curd and grapefruit with searing length. A wine with clarity and finesse. A tightly focussed and very precise wine showing seamless fruit purity with the lightly toasted French oak very much in the background. Crystalline acidity and a mouth-watering finish complete this Chardonnay.
